And support DIY!
i got my computer back! I am behind on many things, many emails, and sorry if any of you and i think there were two, emailed me for the pie pattern and i had to tell you bitterly that i may have lost all of my info/files on my computer...well if you want the pattern please email me again. Sorry i was bitter sounding, if you found out you lost everything you had on your harddrive i’m sure you’d feel the same way.
also from nat’s conversation with me tonight:
nat: i am the fifth google result for moustache
jen: yay!

i sewed these yesterday what do you think? I didn’t pull on the elastic in the back for the bright floral one, so it will sit lower on my hips as an experiment. Also pattern can be found here

Broken stuffs and things
♥ Comments (5) ♥
Just wanted to drop in the say hello. My computer’s fan had died and therefore fried my motherboard. The guy that built my computer 5 years ago is replacing the motherboard. So my computer should be somewhat fster than i am used to when it has risen from the dead again. Anyways i wanted to say thanks to every one of you who wished nat and i a happy four years and shared a laugh with the portrait he drew of us. Thank you so much for your well wishes it does mean a lot to me.
So because I do not have any computer i leave you with some of the newest fabrics our small project pouches are in please check them out, or else they will be sold at Renegade!

four years
♥ Comments (20) ♥
Four years together and counting. I don’t know the day, i only know sometime this week four years ago nathaniel and i went to the Lake County Fair on our first date. I asked him to make a drawing on his wacom tablet last nite and here’s what he came up with. (yes i wear birkenstocks and yes he was conflicted as to which t-shirt he should wear the califone one or the modest mouse one)
*****EDITED: there’s a knife on my shirt because i was wearing the stabby Mcknife shirt from threadless nat bought for me earlier in the week.

summer break
♥ Comments (5) ♥
just taking a break. hope all is well with y’all.
what’s been going on in these parts?
well we went with erin and jessica to the porter county fair, never mind it was 95 degrees and sweltering humidity! we still survived.
here they are riding pony’s. Jessica has never done this and i think she liked it.
zander and a sheep
to continue this heat torture nat bought tickets to the Pitchfork fest back in april. it was 95 degrees saturday with high humidity and it was 100 on saturday. i took a few photos but it was even too hot to do that. but here’s ted leo rockin out
i bought a few items at the department craft booths
and then i wanted to die on monday. Today jessica and erin came over to swim all day. i applied sunscreen, yet my shoulders are burnt. stupid sun.
here are my favorite links from flatstock please go support these silk screeners
1. yee-haw industries
2. de-coder ring design
3. nate notling
4. asthetic apparatus
5. standard deluxe
i will now leave you with a conversation between nat and i that makes me think he spent too much time out in the heat today as well
background: we are talking about a silk screen print by nate of with remote it’s the band AFTER BURIAL’s poster witht he snake and deer (i really want this print along with the mogawi print)
jen:i told you i liked the first one
nat: but it has a snake eeeeeeeeeeeeew snakes
jen:but the snake looks cool it mimics that black metal thing that looks like a FIVE
nat: eeeeeeeeeew snakes
jen: whatever
nat: it could be a smiley hose with a moustache or something instead of a snake
jen: what?
nat:a smiley hose with a moustache and a hat. a garden hose they look like snakes or a bunch of sausage links! mmmmmm sausage
jen: what the hell is a smiley hose?
nat: a garden hose that is smiling and has a moustache
jen: have you been out in the heat too long today?
nat: maybe
