Y’all should check out Bethany’s site. She also has some cool jewelry and cards up at her own URL I ordered a few bracelets for up and coming springtime. I’ll show them off once i get them..in the meantime check her out everything is handmade and quite pretty. Anyways i saw this over at her journal and thought hmmm i’ll bite…

Movies:

1. Oldboy- like i said best film i’ve seen in 10 years (and i have a major in film)
2. The Great Muppet Caper - you seriously can’t beat Miss Piggy busting thru that stained glass window on her bike now can you?
3. Mr. SMith Goes to Washington- Jimmy Stewert never looked so good

Teevee:

1. Smackdown on Telemundo- nat doesn’t have cable and there’s clearly nothing to watch but this on saturdays at like 5pm
2. er- since the beginning baby
3. Degrassi- all of them including the next generation on THE N

CD:

hmmm Seems like i don’t listen to whole cd’s anymore...esepcially since nat has air tunes and just hits random on itunes and we listen for hours but:

1. Califone: Roots and Crowns- can’t get enough of Chinese Actor
2. Girls Vs. Boys : House of GVSB - i especially like to drive to this album, lake shore drive has never been better with GVSB
3. Sloan: Smeared- ok ok so it came out in like 1992 but you can’t beat any song on any given day on this album

SONGS:

1. since we’re on sloan...Underwhelmed by Sloan- it’s got the line affection has two f’s..especially when you’re dealing with me, can you get a better song about how a boy loves a girl who misses the point and can’t spell?

2. Michigan Girls by Califone...one of my most favorite and one of the prettiest songs they play. Jim brings out the fiddle on that one. Someone once told me when they heard this song they thought of me. (not nat) but nat put it on a sappy cd for me once

3.  Turn My Camera On by Spoon- this song still to this day makes me want to shake my butt in a serious way

BOOKS:

ok since i took up knitting i haven’t read many books recently i did like

1. the end of faith by sam harris
2. under the banner of heaven
3. the time traveler’s wife

MAGAZINES:

1. CA or Communication Arts, mostly for the annuals
2. BUST- i’ve read it since they were printed on newspaper and it was the early 90’s
3. SASSY- yes i’ve read it since issue 2 and still have a stack, you know i’m cool so shhhhhh!

WEBSITES:

1. Artificical Memory- Nathaniel’s portfolio he is so talented
2. Moustache Factory - hey i have an intimate relationship witht he foreman
3. flickr- where else can i look at pools of bassett hound pictures for hours?
