An open letter to a knit designer

Dear Famous Knit Pattern Designer who just recently published a book on KNITTED FLOWERS (cough cough),

Why oh why can you bother to knit one thousand pretty flowers, yet you can’t BOTHER to let us know what friggin WEIGHT the yarn is you used in the pattern so i can adjust needle size? i simply do not know some brand of yarn and automatically know if it’s sport weight...or worsted. Who in god’s name did you hire for your finishing and sewing team? Every flower i have attempted has turned out wonky or crooked or NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOGRAPH. Also where in tarnation did you come up with the numbering of stitches in some of said patterns?
Your book when i first received it was amazing, i dreamed of all the flowers i could make. put them on my bags, put them in my hair...make pins. I could use all these scraps for something pretty! Now your book is just the thorn in my side as nothing has turned out remotley as pretty as in your book. Thanks for the high hopes....i’d like my $24.95 back cause high hopes aren’t exactly pretty flowers.

I have been waiting for this book to be published all Spring. Sounds like it is really disappointing. :(
