Frustration (more)

Comments (12)

Can i get a collective *sigh* from my women peers. I have been trying to Bra shop for the past 3 weeks. Yes. Now you understand my pain. As women we HATE bra shopping probably as much as shopping for jeans. We buy 5 or 6 bras and wear those til they are on their last leg. Even then we try to still wear them. Apparently all of my favorite bra’s (or the ones that still fit) have died like lemmings all in the past month. And OF COURSE the place where i originally bought them does not sell this kind anymore. So when you want to pay about 10-15$ per bra and get about 7 new ones, you can feel my pain. And of course i’m not one of those people who like to pad them, so i don’t like 98% of the bra’s out there. I have managed to find a good deal at Sears (which by the way has racks and racks and racks as far as the eye can see of bras-who knew?) and i’ve lucked out at target. I am so happy i am done bra shopping now and i can just wear these til they look like they will disintegrate off my body. *sigh*

You don’t have to tell me! Wait till you get pregnant! I’m 27 weeks and I’m still trying to wear my regular bras when I go out cuz I just don’t want to shop for more!

Bra shopping is about as much fun shopping for a swimsuit--NOT! I hate it, hate it, hate it. I’m so very tempted to just let gravity take its natural course and saying to heck with it all but am afraid to scare the neighbors or anyone else I come into contact with on a daily basis.

I can only find good ones in my size (36D) at Victoria Secret or Macy’s (Calvin Klein are my new favorites). But I too hate bra shopping. Blah. I’d rather buy shoes ANY day! ;)

my favorite bra shopping site.  I have an odd size which means i have to order all mine, but figleaves runs some really good sales.

I’m SO with you on this one! I HATE bra shopping :( I’m VERY picky about the fit and the only ones i even like are the emma collection from V’s Secret and they’re like $38 each :( that’s CRAP! Congrats on actually finding some you like :) I’ve been replenishing during the annual sales…

ok, can we just say that when i went bra shopping in the fall (with a gift card to victoria’s secret), i decided to get fitted seeing as i had given birth and nursed twins since the last time i purchased foundation garments.  and turns out my FORMER STUDENT was the manager and she fitted me!  although what could have been a nightmare was actually a relief and i left with three rockin bras that didn’t cost me a penny.  :-)

The only thing worse then bra shopping is BLUE JEANS shopping.  I don’t know.  Having really short legs and being FAT means that I can’t find a pair of jeans to save my FRIGGIN’ life!  On top of that, my wieght goes up and down so much that I have to keep jeans around that DON’T fit.  AAAAGGGG!

LOL! Sorry---I can’t stop laughing. I just bought three new bras at Kohl’s two days ago!! I love bra shopping about as much as I love getting my boobs smashed in the mammogram machine, but at least insurance pays for that!
