i have received the BEST gift ever. when kelly said it was special she certainly did mean special! saturday i received TWO packages! one was my sock dog/cd mix/valentine RETURED to me because it was undeliverable....and a BABY SHIT YELLOW HAND CROCHETD SCARF!!! my friend kelly rocks so hardcore. when i receive anything handmade it makes me teary. i have become quite the crafter and always make and give everthing away..so when i get anything i get weepy and keep it close by me so i can see it everyday. that’s why all my paintings and cards are so close together. so kel..lucky for you it was about 5 degrees out tonight. a record from what they say on the news. when nathaniel and i went to get pizza...he was cold and i was WARM as TOAST in my wonderful scarf. it’s on his coat rack right now and it makes me smile.

speaking of making me smile..i have gotten to spend some quality time with my little nephew. Team Zander is a poopin’-formula drinkin’ -cooing-ball-o-cuteness! when he’s at the house i snap him up and he and auntie jennifer lay on the couch. he lays across my shouder/chest and sleeps..i rest listening to him make his silly cooing and baby sounds...he laughs alot in his sleep too.  all i can say is he smells so friggin good and he’s so soft and so so so tiny he just ROCKS. there is nothing better than being an aunt.

i have managed to knit up a little storm the other day and think i am getting my tension alot better. now i need to practice purling ALOT. since i seem to twist up my stitches alot latley. tomorrow i think i am going to go to Paperboy tomorrow and get kel a card and something special...maybe i’ll go shopping while nat works!
