last swap

Back in December, my friend Amy asked me if i wanted in on a swap with someone who was too late for a scheduled swap. I knew Vanessa wasn’t having a particularly good holiday, so i agreed to be her not-so-secret-santa. We figured we swap stuff. I sent her a whole box of stuff back in December before i went to philly. A spindle kit from Katy, with custom dyed colors, a travel case, several pouches and other assorted items i sew all made it into the box. I received my box from vanessa this week.
She made me a fun scarf because she knows my favorite color is orange. She also made me a fabulous box she made out of stamps and included some magnets too! I now have something pretty to put my jewelry into on my bedside table. She also sent along treats, including a marzipan piggy. Thank you very much vanessa. I hope you get your blog updated because you’ve been knitting some pretty socks!

Glad to see Vanessa finally sent her swap package. For the record though, I didn’t ask you to do one with her. She messaged me about missing the deadline for the one I set up and since I knew you two were friends, I suggested she contact you since you do a lot of swaps. I just thought you might want to do with one her. :)

That box really is great, and the scarf is perfect for how insanely cold it is right now - can you believe it here? Yikes.

Wow - I’ve been out of the Internets Loop this week (it was just one of those weeks, you know??) and I can not believe all the fabulousity that I’ve missed out on here!
Such gorgeous goodies! And I’m glad you got your mockey sock fix taken care of… (and you know that I would have helped a sister out. If I hadn’t been over a week late...)
