Mr. Quiz and Gray’s Anatomy

If anyone wants to waste 5 minutes, take my Mr. Quiz. see how well you know me or how well you don’t know me.
also what did you knitters who watch Gray’s Anatomy think of the knitting show? Personally i had mixed feelings about it because i didn’t like the fact that knitting was so associated with “replacing a man” or something directly related to a man. Which is kind of weird. I did however, like the Izzy character’s take on it all. She was the one who could knit and wasn’t using it as some replacement, she was trying to be supportive to a friend and yet she gave the sweater to her crush. All nice, except we all the know the knit your boyfriend/fiance a sweater curse. On a similar note...i’m obsessed with the Izzy character’s mug. She drinks tea out of a short squatty round clear mug of different colors. If any of y’all know where the hell i can find one please tell me. I go insane every sunday when i see this mug.

I was a little put off by the knitting replacing man issue as well. But all in all I liked the episode. We were talking about it last night at SnB and they were talking about how Izzy really knew how to knit and how surprised they were, then I pointed out that she has a scarf in the second Celebrity Scarves book if I remember correctly. Just as an FYI!
I’m wracking my brain trying to visual Izzy mug as I’ve been on the hunt for a “my mug” sort of thing, but I can’t think of what it looked like… So I’m afraid I’m of no help there, sorry!

I LOVE THAT SHOW! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see much this past Sunday because they kept interrupting for severe weather warnings.
I’m jealous of the newborn, can’t wait for my friends to move in so I can hold him all the time!

I just chanced upon your blog after I placed an order, but I think I know where you can get a mug like that. I noticed in an earlier episode that I had the same mug: purple plastic with a lid. I bought mine at Target about a year ago. I just looked on the website, though, and I can’t find it.

i think izzy was knitting with addis too, i noticed that barely. she looks like a good knitter though (although the fact that she knit the sweater during one day (ON THE JOB) is obvious bull). ha!
