okay so i bought 18$ worth of SPARKLY HAIRPINS, so sue me. a girl just has to have some sparkly hairpins once in awhile. what i am talking about is my love for all the hairpins at this store called hazel. it’s in lincolin square by the brown line stop of Montrose. i started just window shopping last fall, and i went in on several occasions to pick up cards or gifts, THEN i saw all the lovley hairpins. bobby pins with beautiful crystals in flowers and different shapes. last fall i bought 12$ worth. and yesterday with nat making fun of me i bought 18$ worth. argh. with them being 2.50$ a pair it’s easy to get carried away.

yesterday i was on a mad search for baby announcements. i wanted someting letterpressed simply with time: date: etc etc on it. i thought you could find them in a stack ready to be printed on. with all these specialty/expensive invitation stores around. i couldn’t find anything, all the answer i got was YOU CAN ORDER THEM...well baby got here ONE MONTH EARLY i don’t have a lot of time to order them now, wankers. i want a letterpress so i can make my own. GRRRRR.

baby alexzander is still in the Neo-natal ICU at porter memorial hospital. aunts are crap out of luck to see baby. so i have to rely on my sister to smuggle in my digital camera and snap away. we are hoping he will come home by the end of the week. he can be at his own shower!
