I seem to have lost my brain

If any of you find it laying around will you please ship it back to me? I can’t believe myself today. At 10 pm i discover it’s NOT tuesday. What the hell? how in god’s name did i go ALL DAY thinking it was tuesday?

here’s a myriad of other problems...i said my sock didn’t feel right today. well i managed to read my pattern TOTALLY WRONG. Not even CLOSE to right. and i made a heel flap that was 4 times as long as it’s supposed to be..and believe it or not i didn’t even notice til i TURNED THE HEEL and was ready to pick up stitches. good god.

I then rip back and start knitting tonight with erin and kristen. and suddenly out of thin air i have an odd number of stitches. erin said something and waved it around like magic and fixed whatever the hell i did.

i couldn’t read for anything today. i wrote a pattern down and i kept reading the row below the one i was writting.

I kept calling erin kristen by the end of the night.

to make me EVEN MORE CONFUSED, i go buy some iced tea..i’m gone for 2 min MAXIMUM and i come back and erin is telling me rather fast about some conversation she had with someone named becky..and i had no idea she even had this conversation in the 2 min i had my back turned.

i can’t believe i could operate my car without something happening to me.

i need to go to sleep and start all over again. DO OVER!

update: i may have lost the brain but i was finally able after 2.5 years able to trick nat into saying something tonight.  he always says i love you some. if i say that’s not alot he asks me how do i know?

nat: types i love you some with a billion o’s m’s and e’s
jen: that looks like alot..is it?
jen knows she is tricking nat and waits for him to fall into the trap.
nat: yes
jen: heh heh that was a trick question! you fell for it!  i win! i win! i got you to say alot instead of some!
jen does a victory dance that looks a lot like snoopy
nat: you suck some with a billion o’s, m’s and e’s..too
jen: victory is mine..all mine

now if i can only find my brain. i seriously hope this is not a sign of demensia. or me getting old. or......
