pattern
ok “ella” commented but her email is “an error” as my email keeps bouncing back to me. so here is where you can get the pattern you can get it here
http://www.dorkybestfriend.blogspot.com/
OR
if you look over to your left there’s a a link that says piddleloop.com click on it
and then look in the SAME spot on my main blog...see the options of “store” or “blog” click on store. in the store youw ill find erin’s pattern and when you purchase it from paypal it will be digitally downloaded. the money will then be sent to her!
easy peasy.
anyone else recently buy the pattern and make a pair to show off?

I bought the pattern this morning, but I’m still waiting for the email with the file. It looks like it’ll be a nice slipper...when you make it with Noro, how much did you use? Two skeins of Kureyon?

Just downloaded the pattern and have found a great tutorial for the turkish cast on here: http://fluffyknitterdeb.blogspot.com/2005/10/knitting-made-easier-turkish-cast-on.html
BUT I am having problems with the first 4 rows. I can’t seem to make it work. I’m gonna give it one more try before I scream bloody murder. Has anybody had any problems with the first 4 rows? Thx in advance!

OK I am a total bonehead. Apparently I have to read patterns at least 5x before I get them right. So I thought (duh) that the first part of the pattern meant that I should knit an additional 2 stitches between the M1s. I could not get the # of stitches to work. Then all of a sudden I read the pattern for the 4th time or so and realized what the hell was going on. Also looking at the photos on this site helped. I am totally good to go now. Sheesh.
Thanks Jen for the email! R

so I have the pattern and I have knit a tutorial sock, so i have the idea of working with dpns..
although, i haven’t quite succeeded at casting on.. sob. I tried to follow the instructions, but it didnt work, so I looked up a tutorial on “turkish cast-on” and I did that successfully--- although it’s with two circular needles… Is there a way to swap back to dpns?
Ahh, the search continues!
