I have not tried it yet, but I bet you could pick up stitches and seed stitch around. you might have to go down a couple of sizes. and then just knit the strap in seed stitch. Like I said I haven’t tried it but it’s definitely something you could play around with.

Help! I have knit several pairs of socks, but I am stuck. Bind off from which needle? I am assuming the instep? Because of the way I cast on, I think that my marker is in the wrong place. Help!

I just purchased a copy of the pattern, after seeing your blog! I am intending on making these, after I finish my knitting olympics project--I have the perfect Noro;0)
Has anyone knitted the strap instead of crocheting? I don’t crochet!!
